The Daio Group seeks to create an environment for children around the world to play their favorite sports and support people who are striving to realize their dreams by sponsoring tournaments for women’s professional golf, girls’ baseball, and other sports. In addition, to help revitalize local communities, Daio Paper participates in various support projects organized by local governments and conducts charity activities. We aim to strengthen bonds with local communities and contribute to their prosperous development.

Daio Paper Elleair Ladies Open
“Daio Paper Elleair Ladies Open”, the final event of the Japan LPGA tour each year, draws a great deal of attention because it is a critical tournament for players competing to get JLPGA Mercedes-Benz Player of the Year or make it onto the priority ranking list for the next year’s tour. The tournament is administered by Daio Paper employees together with local volunteers, who handle live scoring and serve as course marshals, reception clerks, and in other positions. Moreover, since the beginning of the tournament, we have donated proceeds from charity activities held at the event to the local community in order to contribute to education and welfare. Through its sponsorship of this women’s professional golf tournament, Daio Paper declares its support for all women and works toward contributing to the local community.

As part of its initiatives to exist in harmony with the local community, the Daio Paper Group co-sponsors professional sports teams in its hometown of Ehime Prefecture: the football teams Ehime FC ladies, which competes in the second division of the Japan Professional Football League, and Ehime FC Ladies, and the baseball team Ehime Mandarin Pirates. Together with Ehime Prefecture, local companies and residents, we will continue to support regional promotion projects that utilize professional sports.
