The Daio Group is developing “Team Eliel,” a sports support activity program that provides a sports stage for athletes who never give up on their dreams by sponsoring professional female golfers and girls’ baseball games. In addition, the Group is involved in various local government support project sponsorship events and charity activities to revitalize local communities and contribute to the enrichment and development of local communities while deepening ties with local communities.

Daio Paper Elleair Ladies Open
The Daio Paper Eliere Ladies Open, the final round of the JLPGA Domestic Tour sanctioned tournament, is a high-profile event that plays a key role in the battle for the annual queen and the following year’s seeding rights. Daio Group employees, including hole marshals and gallery receptionists, work together with local volunteers to run the event. In addition, since the tournament’s inception, the proceeds from the charity event have been donated to the host area for the purpose of welfare. Through women’s professional golf, Daio Group is committed to “supporting all women” and contributing to local communities.

As part of its initiatives to exist in harmony with the local community, the Daio Paper Group co-sponsors professional sports teams in its hometown of Ehime Prefecture: the football teams Ehime FC ladies, which competes in the second division of the Japan Professional Football League, and Ehime FC Ladies, and the baseball team Ehime Mandarin Pirates. Together with Ehime Prefecture, local companies and residents, we will continue to support regional promotion projects that utilize professional sports.
